Who doesn’t like something to dip their chips in? Yes I did say chips. Sweet potato chips are my favourite but I also enjoy homemade baked chips too. You always need something to dip your chips into!

Your traditional mayonnaise, tomato ketchup or any other sauces for that matter are generally packed full of sugar and offer little in the way of nutritional value.

So I always make something for dipping.  It can be humous, even a bit of natural yoghurt with lemon, salt and pepper, and some dill. But this avocado mayonnaise has been my go-to recently. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen this on my plate a lot!

I can’t really call it a recipe as it only has 3 ingredients! But packed full of those good fats, potassium, vitamin E and B vitamins it’s a great nutritional alternative to shop-bought sauces.

Ingredients

1 avocado
Juice of half a lemon
Salt to taste

Method

Simply combine the ingredients, you can have it as a chunky or as smooth as you like.
